The Vision

This started as a whisper. a dream shared between queer women of color who were tired of searching for comfort and representation in spaces that were never built for us. Masc Off was born from that need: a vision of belonging, of laughter that doesn’t have to shrink, of love that doesn’t have to hide. Now, that dream is ready to take shape.

We are on the search for a property that could become Masc Off — a home for us, by us. A place where queer women of color and like-minded queer women can gather, dance, heal, and exist freely. However, to make it a reality, help is needed.

Why This Matters

Every time a queer woman of color walks into a space and feels unseen, unsafe, or unwelcome, it chips away at something sacred. Masc Off is about reclaiming that. It’s about creating a home where we don’t have to explain ourselves, a place where our joy is the default, not the exception.

This isn’t just a bar. It’s a heartbeat.
It’s a place for first dates and last dances, for poetry nights and healing circles, for laughter that fills the room and lingers long after the music stops.

What the Funds Will Do

Every donation brings this dream closer to reality. Funds will go toward:

• Securing the Property – The down payment and legal fees to make the space ours.

• Renovations – Turning an empty building into a warm, inclusive, and accessible home.

• Licensing & Permits – Ensuring the space operates safely and sustainably.

• Community Programming – Funding free events, workshops, and wellness nights for queer women of color.

Every contribution matters.

• $25 – Adds a brick to the foundation — your name will live on our Founders Wall.

• $100 – Helps us furnish the space and gets you an invite to the private opening.
